As of today, we have asparagus, garlic, herbs, blueberries, strawberries, rhubarb, leeks, onions, peas, and lettuce in. These bizarre temps are hopefully helping, but we are supposed to dip down to 40 again tomorrow. Hopefully everything will be feeling confident and robust to make the weather transitions smoothly! I have 13 fuzzy chicks in my cellar under a heat lamp. They give CUTE a whole new meaning! Aracunas, Buff Orpingtons, and Plymouth Barred Rocks. Tom and I renovated the coop last weekend, so once they leave the chicken condo in the cellar they'll move to the chicken palace outside. Laurie is going to try to put them to work in the gardens as chix rotor-tillers! Next, I have to get busy organizing some transport and movable laying boxes for this endeavor.
Go Green and Go Love,
Lisa
