Holy Days

Do you hear what I hear?  A call to silent reflection and expressed gratitude is what I really hear and feel at this time of the year.  I love the music, lights, intentional greetings and well wishes from strangers that are regularly exchanged in this season.

Whether it is the rebirth of the light of the winter solstice, the birth of the Christ child, the celebration of Kwanzaa or Boxing Day, or the beginning of a new year in many traditions,  the collective consciousness seems to be aligned with very positive vibrations.

People volunteer at homeless shelters and food kitchens, while others gather with their families and friends.  In short, we all find ourselves reaching out.  How wonderful to feel what a difference this makes!  When we think of the others who so very much touch our lives, how we are truly in relationship with all beings, nature and our tiny place in a very big cosmos, the tilting of our planet back towards the sun (for us in the northern hemisphere) is a reminder of much organic change and much organic continuity.

In this spirit of love and gratitude, I wish you merry moments and breaths of joy.  Let us use the love present during this time of year to imbue our intentions to carry it forward into the new year, answering a call to rededicate ourselves to make a difference by genuinely touching as many hearts as we can each and every day.  Blessings, peace and gratitude to you all.
Go Love,
Lisa
